Storytelling with music

Charlie Wilson shares bright, traditional stories retold from diverse cultures.
All school sessions are carefully differentiated to suit the particular year group.
Each interactive storytelling performance is rhythmical, rhyming and full of rich vocabulary.
There are songs to share, and an array of instruments for children to use – from African pods to Peruvian gourds.

And here is a clip of one of the songs that KS1 children love to join in with.

Thank you for another brilliant day. The children had a great time and got so much out of it. Lovely to see you again. See you next year! Wood End Pri., Herts. 2019

After-School sessions are available, and story-sharing workshops are also offered for parents and carers.
Charlie generally visits primary schools in Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Suffolk, Surrey and Sussex.
In addition, you now have the chance to read, listen to and even see Charlie telling some of his own stories on this site.
